Company Day: Strategy, Barbecue and an Escape Room

Last week, we got together again for our Company Day – a great chance to have everyone in one place, catch up and spend some time together outside of our usual day-to-day work. 🥳

Of course, there was also plenty to talk about. We discussed current business topics, took a closer look at our strategy and talked about what's coming up over the next months. Having everyone in the same room makes these conversations different: questions get asked straight away, ideas get picked up by colleagues from other teams, and we all leave with a clearer picture of where we're heading together.

But we also made sure there was enough time for some fun. We learned how to prepare the perfect barbecue – from the right preparation to getting the timing on the grill just right – and obviously had to try the results afterwards. Later on, we took on an online escape room together, which was probably a bit more challenging than some of us expected. Puzzling our way out as a team showed pretty quickly who keeps a cool head under time pressure and who spots the clue everyone else missed.

With so much of our daily work happening online, across projects, clients and locations, it's always nice to actually get together in person. Not only for the meetings and discussions, but also for all the conversations in between – over coffee, at dinner, or late into the evening. Those are often the moments where you get to know colleagues a little better and find out what's going on beyond your own projects.
