ARIS –LeanIX integration

October 20, 2023

We care

A large company in healthcare and a large company in pharmaceuticals faced the challenge of having different repositories for system and process documentation. While processes are stored in BPM tools like ARIS, IT systems are modelled in Enterprise Architecture Management like LeanIX. With different visualization and modelling methodologies system and process repositories drift apart while they are both needed by business into their day-to-day activities.

We act

The integration between ARIS and LeanIX allows for a bi-directional data exchange . IT systems, usually stored in LeanIX, can be easily migrated to ARIS. Also, processes can also be visualized in LeanIX portal.

This approach ensures that customers

  • Have data consistency between ARIS and LeanIX with multiple daily data synchronizations

  • View the relationship between business processes and IT applications in their work environment

  • Enrich their content in the ARIS and LeanIX while saving efforts to collect data

We deliver

After mapping the process and system architecture with business and IT, a solution architect and a developer identified the requirements and produced the necessary scripts, configured API endpoints and defined the visualization of processes and IT system both in ARIS and LeanIX.
